Mailing List Members
Learn what mailing list members are and the way to sign up to a mailing list.
Mailing list members are people that have joined a specific list to receive regular email messages, such as weekly newsletters. In case the software program that is used to administer the mailing list permits it, you can also approve members manually, but in this case such emails may be regarded as unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Traditionally, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a mailing list by clicking a link in the messages they get, or you, as the mailing list moderator, can delete them manually in case they request this or in case you decide that some of the members should not belong to the list anymore. Each member will view only their own address in the "To" field of the email messages they receive, but not the addresses of the rest of the mailing list members.

Mailing List Members in Shared Web Hosting
Managing the subscribers for any mailing list set up under a shared web hosting account with us will be unbelievably easy. We rely on a feature-ridden piece of software called Majordomo – one of the most popular mailing list managers for creating and managing mailing lists out there. It will allow you to authorize, to delete or to view all the subscribers by simply sending an email to majordomo@your-domain.com. Newly imported members will have to confirm their membership, so you cannot just enter an email address and begin sending out periodic emails to it using a mailing list without the permission of the user. If you come across any difficulties, we’ve got a comprehensive how-to article in the Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel that is included with each shared hosting account, as well as a 24x7 client support team, which will assist you with any questions with regards to the mailing list options.
- Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you host your domains under a semi-dedicated server account with our company and you’d like to send regular newsletters to your clients, you’ll be able to set up as many mailing lists as you like. You can approve as many mailing list subscribers as you like as well. You’ll be able to use one of the most popular mailing list managers out there – Majordomo. Managing your subscribers will be as simple as sending an email with a specific command to majordomo@domain.com. Thus, you can view all the members of a certain list, include new ones or remove those that shouldn’t receive your newsletters any longer. You will also acquire access to a number of how-to articles in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel where you’ll find more comprehensive information in regards to the management of your subscribers, including all Majordomo commands. - Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers
