Catch-all Emails
Do you have to make a catch-all email account? What is a catch-all mailbox?
A catch-all mailbox is one that gathers all the emails sent to inactive email addresses. For example, if your address is info@domain.com, but someone misspells it and sends a message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have configured. Only one single mailbox per domain name can have this feature enabled and thus you will never miss emails because the other side has an out-of-date address or has made a spelling mistake. The negative aspect of setting up a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving lots of unsolicited bulk messages, but this problem can be resolved using an anti-spam filtering solution. It’s also vital to know that a mailbox with an enabled catch-all functionality cannot redirect incoming messages to a third-party address.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Web Hosting
In case you host a domain name on our cloud platform and you’ve got a shared web hosting account, you’ll be able to activate the catch-all feature for any email mailbox that you create under the domain. The Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel offers quite a few functions, but it is amazingly user-friendly, so creating a catch-all mailbox takes only a click of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve set up will be enumerated in this section in alphabetical order and you’ll just need to click the "Catch-all" button associated with the respective address. Our system will alert you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain or if the one that you’d like to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding enabled, so you can either deactivate the latter feature or choose some other mailbox. Disabling the catch-all option is just as easy and takes yet another mouse click on the very same button.
- Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
You’ll be able to create a catch-all address with no more than one click in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated hosting plan with our company and your email messages are handled by our cloud web hosting platform. All the addresses that you create using any domain hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be listed in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable the feature will be to click that icon. In the very same fashion you’ll be able to remove the feature, in case you do not need it anymore. Our system will warn you in case you are attempting to enable a 2nd catch-all address for a given domain or if there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never alter or deactivate any feature automatically or without your permission. - Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
